There is a gap between the model and the work.
The model APIs are extraordinary. The frameworks people wire around them are mostly toys. The gap between a Tuesday-afternoon prototype and an agent that posts cash to your ERP every day is the gap our work lives in.
Antares Intelligence was started because the existing options for most teams were unappealing: hire a consultancy that hands you a deck and a junior team, buy a SaaS that demos beautifully and dies on contact with your real invoice formats, or hire your own AI engineers and watch them rebuild the same agent runtime everyone else is rebuilding. We picked a fourth path: build the runtime once, run the systems ourselves, and price the work like infrastructure rather than software.
The thesis held the first time we put it into production. A midsized US manufacturer’s accounts-receivable agent is live, posting cash to the ERP every day. Another manufacturer’s accounts-payable agent is live, matching invoices and posting vouchers to its ERP. A third runs a customer-facing pricing agent live on its website. We are scaling the rest of the manufacturing channel from there.

The interesting work for AI is not another chat window. It is the back-office cycle that costs you four hours a day, the customer query that waits for a callback, the supplier signal that nobody reads until it is too late. We build agents for those.

Most consultancies hand a system to your team and walk away. Most software vendors sell you a subscription and walk away. We do neither. The team that ships the system runs the system, on your queues, against real volume.
Reliability is the product.
An agent that mostly works is worse than no agent. We build for idempotency, approval gates, resumable jobs, audit trails: the discipline that turns a demo into something an operator stakes their day on.
